Kuwait City, April 13 (QNA) - Boursa Kuwait closed higher on Monday, with its general index rising 70.44 points, or 0.82%, to 8,694.08 points.
A total of 412.6 million shares were traded through 25,346 cash transactions, with a combined value of KWD 104.6 million (approximately $341.8 million).
The Main Market Index gained 49.93 points, or 0.63%, to 7,970.46 points, with 231 million shares exchanged across 12,458 transactions worth KWD 30.3 million (about $99 million).
The First Market Index advanced 78.47 points, or 0.85%, to 9,299.23 points, as 181.6 million shares were traded in 12,888 deals totaling KWD 74.3 million (approximately $241.8 million).
Meanwhile, the Main 50 Index climbed 190.34 points, or 2.25%, to 8,663.01 points, with 211.5 million shares traded through 10,371 transactions valued at KWD 27.4 million (around $88.2 million). (QNA)
