Doha, April 12 (QNA) - Al Arabi coach Cosmin Contra and Al Sailiya coach Mirghani Al Zain spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League Week 17 postponed match scheduled for tomorow.

"The Al Sailiya match represents a real opportunity to boost our points tally and add three crucial points that will put us in a stronger position in the race for the top four. We are fully aware that postponed matches have a special character and require double the physical and mental readiness to cope with the pressure of the schedule at this crucial stage," Al Arabi coach Cosmin Contra said.

“Winning this postponed match will give us a real advantage and put us in a better position in the standings. I trust in the players' intelligence and their ability to approach the match calmly and show a strong desire to secure the result from the first minute," Cosmin added.

For his part, Al Sailiya coach Mirghani Al Zain said: "This is a rescheduled match and we are fully prepared. I have great confidence in the players to deliver the required performance and achieve a positive result."

He added: "The team has utilized this period perfectly in terms of both physical readiness and tactical discipline. Facing Al Arabi requires the highest level of focus, given both teams’ desire to secure a result that strengthens their position in the league standings.
