Saudi Arabia Reports Two Fatalities, 12 Injuries in Falling Projectile on Residential Site in Al-Kharj

Riyadh, March 08 (QNA) - The Saudi Civil Defense announced the death of two individuals and the injury of 12 others following the fall of a military projectile on a residential site in Al-Kharj governorate.

Official Spokesperson of the Saudi Civil Defense highlighted that the civil defense personnel handled this projectile which fell on a residential site of one of the maintenance and cleaning companies in Al-Kharj governorate, resulting in two fatalities from Indian and Bangladeshi nationalities, as well as 12 injuries among residents from Bangladeshi nationality, alongside material damages.

The Spokesperson stressed that attempts to target civilian objects are tantamount to a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law, clarifying that appropriate measures have been enforced in such cases. (QNA)
