Omani FM Highlights Importance of Applying Pressure to End Regional War, Contain Its Ramifications
Muscat, March 08 (QNA) - Omani Foreign Minister Badr Albusaidi underscored the imperative of assigning the highest priority to sustained and intensified political and diplomatic pressure aimed at stopping the war in the region, containing its ramifications, and addressing the consequent threats to the region's security, stability, and the safety of its populations.
This came during his separate meetings with a lineup of ambassadors of several non-European Union (EU) countries, the United States, Brazil, and Turkiye, along with the ambassadors of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) members, Iraq, Jordan, and Egypt.
The Omani Foreign Minister stressed that the current stage requires broad regional and international action in this direction, adding that stopping the war should be regarded as a supreme national and regional interest for all.
The meetings addressed developments related to the Israeli-American war on Iran and its harmful repercussions on the region and the world as a whole. (QNA)
