Ankara, March 07 (QNA) - Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed the bilateral relationship and regional and global developments in a phone call Saturday with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
Both sides spoke about the path of the conflict playing out in the region, with Erdogan stressing the existence of a solid desire to advance Turkiye-Britain cooperation in all domains, foremost of which are the defense industries, the Turkish Presidency clarified in a statement.
Regarding the regional tension, Erdogan indicated that Turkiye is closely monitoring the developments that started with attacks on Iran. He cautioned that prolonged attacks could cause significant damage to regional and global stability.
Erdogan further noted that there is still room to build groundwork for dialogue, emphasizing that Turkiye continues its efforts to achieve peace. (QNA)
