Baghdad, March 07 (QNA) - President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, Nechirvan Barzani, discussed the developments unfolding in the region in a telephone call Saturday with French President Emmanuel Macron.

                A statement by the Presidency of the Region reported that during the call, both sides expressed their profound concern over the risks of percolating tensions.

                They agreed on the criticality of stepping up international efforts to significantly prevent conflict spillover and ensure that security and stability are restored to the peoples of the region. (QNA)
