Two Palestinians Martyred by Israeli Fire in Northern Gaza
Gaza, March 06 (QNA) – Two Palestinians were martyred Friday by Israeli fire and shelling in the northern Gaza Strip.
Medical sources reported that a Palestinian was martyred by Israeli artillery shelling near the Al Mahatta Mosque in the Al Tuffah neighborhood, northeast of Gaza City. A child was also killed by Israeli fire in the Beit Lahia project in the northern Gaza Strip.
The death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 72,120 martyrs and 171,802 wounded.
The ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel came into effect last October, following the withdrawal of the Israeli army from its positions and populated areas in the Strip, and the beginning of the return of displaced persons to the northern Gaza Strip. This was part of the first phase of US President Donald Trump's initiative to end the war on Gaza. (QNA)
