Doha, March 6 (QNA) - Qatar Airways said Friday that flight operations remain temporarily suspended due to the closure of Qatari airspace. The company added that it will resume once the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority announces the safe reopening of Qatari airspace by the relevant authorities.
The carrier said that it was working around the clock to organize additional relief flights to operate whenever that would be possible, adding that it would get in contact with passengers in that regard, including those whose flights were affected by the disruption.
Qatar Airways called on passengers not to proceed to the airport unless they have received an official notification from the carrier confirming their flights, noting that it has representatives in certain hotels in Doha to help passengers currently in the country with any questions they might have regarding relief flights and travel arrangements.
Qatar Airways also called on passengers to update their contact details so that they can be reached with flight information and instructions, noting that details can be updated through the websiteآ or mobile app. (QNA)
