Muscat, March 06 (QNA) – Omani Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi stressed Friday the importance of concerted international efforts to achieve a ceasefire in the Middle East.

During his meeting with several ambassadors accredited to Oman, Al Busaidi stressed the need to work towards ending the Israeli-US war on Iran and halting its unacceptable repercussions on the countries of the region.

The meeting comes as a continuation of diplomatic efforts to clarify Oman's position on the ongoing conflict in the region, the serious challenges it presents, and its repercussions on global security, stability, and the economy.

It also falls within the framework of ongoing efforts to ensure the safe passage and travel of passengers through Omani territory and airports to various regional and international destinations. (QNA)
