Doha, March 5 (QNA) - HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, received Thursday a phone call from HE President of the Czech Republic Petr Pavel.

During the call, HE the Czech President expressed his country's solidarity with the State of Qatar following the blatant Iranian aggression. He condemned these military actions, which target the security and sovereignty of states and threaten the stability of the region, and affirmed the Czech Republic's rejection of any practices that undermine regional security and stability.

He also praised the State of Qatar's role in supporting peace efforts and promoting regional stability, commending its dialogue and diplomacy-based approach.

His Excellency also stressed the need for urgent action to halt military operations and contain the escalation, calling for intensified international efforts to reach a swift solution to the crisis that preserves the region's security and stability.

Both sides emphasized the importance of prioritizing political and diplomatic solutions and adhering to the principles of international law and the Charter of the United Nations, in order to enhance peace and security at both the regional and international levels. (QNA)
