Paris, March 05 (QNA) - The French Armed Forces have announced that US aircraft will be allowed to operate temporarily from French bases in the Middle East amid the ongoing US-Israeli conflict with Iran.

A spokesperson for the French military said on Thursday that the move is part of France's cooperation with the United States and that the aircraft "contribute to the protection of our partners in the Gulf."

She added that US planes may use French bases in the Gulf to support air protection operations and defend allies, in response to the increasing threat of missile and drone attacks in the region. (QNA)
