Geneva, March 30 (QNA) - The World Health Organization (WHO) announced that the death toll from Israeli attacks on the Lebanese health sector has risen to 52.
WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said on X platform that a paramedic was killed in an attack targeting an ambulance in Bint Jbeil.
"A medical warehouse in the same city was destroyed in an attack," he added.
Prior to this attack, Ghebreyesus said that WHO had verified the deaths of 51 Lebanese health workers, including nine paramedics, on Saturday.
Earlier, the Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that the death toll from the Israeli aggression against Lebanon had risen to 1,238, with 3,543 injured since March 2.
The Israeli entity continues to launch a series of raids on several villages and towns in southern Lebanon, in addition to areas in the southern suburbs of Beirut. (QNA)
