HH the Amir, Saudi Crown Prince Discuss Regional and International Developments
Jeddah, March 30 (QNA) - HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani held talks with HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in Jeddah on Monday.
During the meeting, the two leaders discussed regional and international developments, as well as efforts to de-escalate tensions and reinforce security and stability in the region.
Both sides addressed the ongoing efforts to contain the rising tensions amid rapidly evolving developments, including the incessant Iranian aggression and the challenges it imposes on regional and global security and stability, as well as its potential impacts on global energy supplies and market stability.
HH the Amir and HRH the Saudi Crown Prince shared perspectives on the foremost issues of shared concern and emphasized the importance of continued coordination and consultation, underscoring the close and strategic relations between the two countries.
Attending the meeting were HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, HE Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad Al-Thani, and HE Chief of the Amiri Diwan Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi, alongside a number of Their Excellencies high-ranking officials.
On the Saudi side, the meeting was attended by HRH Deputy Governor of Makkah Region Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud and HE Minister of State, Member of the Cabinet, and National Security Adviser Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al Aiban, alongside a number of senior officials. (QNA)
