Doha, March 29 (QNA) - Qatar Sports For All Federation (QSAF) affiliated with the Ministry of Sports and Youth, announced the resumption of activities at Al Furjan playgrounds across the country, noting that playground bookings are now available again for football teams and walkers via the Sports for All app.

In a statement, the Federation emphasized that spectators will not be permitted and that full compliance with the procedures and safety standards approved by the Ministry of Interior is mandatory. This ensures a safe and attractive environment for those wishing to practice sports within residential neighborhoods. This initiative is part of the Federation's ongoing efforts to expand community participation in physical activity and utilize sports facilities to organize and host events and activities that appeal to young people.

QSAF Executive Director Abdullah Al Dosari said in a press release that Al Furjan playgrounds are witnessing a strong return of various sporting activities following the exceptional hiatus. This comes as a continuation of the Federation's efforts to provide opportunities for young people to practice football through bookings now available to everyone via the Federation's application. He pointed out that the eighteen Al Furjan playgrounds play a pivotal role in spreading the culture of sports and exercises and raising awareness of the importance of sports, which represent a vital outlet for young people and an important platform for amateur players to participate in diverse sporting activities.

Al Dosari explained that the designated playgrounds host a series of tournaments every two months, contributing to enhancing community participation and the sustainability of quality activities offered by the Federation. These activities aim to encourage different segments of society to adopt sports as a lifestyle that reflects the values of vigor and vitality, thus reinforcing the playgrounds' key roles in serving the youth.

The Qatar Sports for All Federation is working to invest in Al Furjan playgrounds located across the country, to represent a comprehensive sports destination open to all family members, young and old, to practice sports and physical activity on a daily basis. (QNA)
