Jordan Intercepts 20 Missiles Launched from Iran Over the Past Week
Amman, March 28 (QNA) - The Jordanian Armed Forces announced on Saturday that they intercepted 20 out of 22 missiles launched from Iran over the past week.
A joint statement by the Directorates of Military Media and Public Security said that the Royal Air Force dealt with the missiles with high efficiency and destroyed them, while two missiles were not intercepted and fell in the eastern part of the country.
The statement added that a total of 262 missiles and drones had been directed toward the Kingdom, targeting vital sites.
It noted that, since the start of the war, the Air Force has intercepted and destroyed 242 missiles and drones, while 20 missiles and drones were not successfully intercepted.
The statement also said that material damage since the beginning of the war included 25 vehicles, 55 homes and commercial shops, and 14 public properties. (QNA)
