Muslim World League Welcomes Human Rights Council's Adoption of Resolution Condemning Iranian Attacks on Gulf States and Jordan
Makkah Al Mukarramah, March 26 (QNA) - The Muslim World League welcomed the Human Rights Council's unanimous adoption of a resolution on the serious human rights repercussions of the Iranian aggression against the State of Qatar, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Kuwait, the Sultanate of Oman, the United Arab Emirates, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
In a statement on behalf of of the councils, assemblies and bodies of the Muslim World League, Secretary-General of the Muslim World League and Chairman of the Council of Muslim Scholars Dr. Mohammad bin Abdulkarim Al Issa commended the just stance of the Human Rights Council, its unequivocal condemnation of this Iranian aggression, its demand to stop it immediately, and its guarantee of accountability for it, especially in light of the grave violations and unprecedented dangerous repercussions on human rights that resulted from it, not only in the region, but around the world.
Al Issa reiterated that the unanimous adoption of the resolution represents a clear message to the Iranian regime of the unified international stance rejecting and condemning its attacks under false pretenses. (QNA)
