Doha, March 25 (QNA) - The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index opened higher on Wednesday, rising 0.97 percent, or 98.32 points, to reach 10249 points, compared with the previous session's close.

Market data showed gains across Banks and Financial Services (+1.07 percent), Industrials (+0.75 percent), Transportation (+0.67 percent), Telecoms (+0.62 percent), Consumer Goods and Services (+0.50 percent), Insurance (+0.27 percent), and Real Estate by (+0.24 percent).

By 10:00 am, trading turnover reached QAR 79.614 million, with 25.971 million shares traded in 5182 transactions. (QNA)
