Doha, March 25 (QNA) - Al Arabi SC announced the renewal of the contract of Colombian player Alexis Perez, the first football team player.

The club stated on its official X platform on Wednesday that the Colombian player's contract has been renewed until 2027.

Al Arabi signed Alexis Perez last September from Al Wasl Club of the UAE to strengthen the team's defense. The player has performed well with the team throughout the Qatari league season.

Al Arabi currently occupies sixth place in the Qatari league standings with 28 points after 19 rounds of the tournament. They have one postponed match against Al-Sailiya from the 17th round.

Al Arabi's next match is against Al Shahaniya on April 3, as part of the 20th round of the league, while their postponed match against Al Sailiya will be played on April 13. (QNA)
