Oman Sultan, Jordan King Discuss Regional Developments, De-escalation Efforts

Muscat, March 24 (QNA) - Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman discussed the latest developments in the Middle East during a telephone call on Tuesday with King Abdullah II of Jordan.

The two leaders reviewed bilateral relations and ways to enhance cooperation across various fields in a manner that serves their mutual interests.

Addressing the escalation in the region, both sides stressed the need to reach an agreement that would end the conflict and guarantee the security of Arab states. They affirmed that the security of the Gulf is integral to regional and global security and stability.

King Abdullah II underscored the importance of intensifying coordination and cooperation to strengthen joint Arab security, commending the Sultanate of Oman's efforts to advance de-escalation through diplomacy and dialogue. (QNA)
