Manama, March 23 (QNA) - Bahrain's Foreign Minister Abdullatif Al Zayani held a phone call on Monday with his Egyptian counterpart Badr Abdelatty to discuss the implications of ongoing missile and drone attacks targeting Bahrain and other Gulf states.

According to officials, the ministers reviewed continued Iranian strikes using ballistic missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles, which have resulted in casualties and damage to property across the region.

During the call, both sides reaffirmed the importance of collective Arab security and emphasized Egypt's support for Bahrain and other members of the Gulf Cooperation Council. They also expressed backing for measures aimed at safeguarding national stability and protecting civilians and residents.

The discussion further addressed coordination ahead of an upcoming meeting of the Arab League at the foreign ministers' level.

The meeting is expected to focus on the reported attacks and their broader implications for regional security and international shipping routes in the Gulf. (QNA)
