Ministry of Defense Mourns Nation's Martyrs Who Passed Away Carrying Out National Duty

Doha, March 22 (QNA) - With profound sorrow and grief, the Ministry of Defense mourned the nation's martyrs, who lost their lives while carrying out their national duty, embodying the highest values of sacrifice in service to the country.

In a post on its official account on X, the Ministry extended its sincere condolences and deepest sympathy to their honorable families, praying that Almighty Allah grants them His vast mercy and inspires their loved ones with patience and solace.

In an earlier time on Sunday, the Ministry of Defense had announced that the following members of the Qatar Armed Forces have been martyred: Captain (Pilot) Mubarak Salem Dawai Al Marri; Captain (Pilot) Saeed Nasser Smeikh; Sergeant Fahad Hadi Ghanem Al Khayareen; and Corporal Mohammed Maher Mohammed.

It had also announced the martyrdom of Major Sinan Tastekin from the Qatar - Turkiye Joint Forces; Turkish civilian collaborators Suleiman Cemra Kahraman and Ismail Anas Can who were passengers on board the helicopter. (QNA)
