Abu Dhabi, March 02 (QNA) - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates summoned Iran's ambassador to the UAE, Reza Ameri, and handed him a strongly worded note of protest, conveying the state's condemnation and strongest denunciation of the Iranian attacks.
The UAE Foreign Ministry affirmed that targeting UAE territory constitutes a blatant violation of its sovereignty, a threat to its national security, and a clear breach of all international charters, resolutions, and norms.
It expressed the UAE's categorical rejection of any justifications or excuses issued by the Iranian government regarding the aggressive escalation that targeted civilian sites, including residential areas, airports, ports, and service facilities, and that endangered unarmed civilians. The ministry stressed that these attacks are inconsistent with the principles of good neighborliness and the United Nations Charter.
Minister of State at the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Khalifa Al Marar,آ warned of serious repercussions for bilateral relations that would have a direct impact on all political, economic, and commercial levels. He underscored that the UAE reserves its right to respond with its full legal rights. (QNA)
