Qatar Interior Ministry Urges Public to Stay Indoors Amid Exceptional Circumstances
Doha, March 02 (QNA) - Qatar's Ministry of Interior has emphasized the importance of remaining at home or in enclosed spaces to ensure public safety amid the current exceptional circumstances in the region.
A ministry statement on X platform recommended staying indoors as an effective precautionary measure to reduce exposure to potential risks. It added that adhering to these guidelines helps authorities perform their duties efficiently while safeguarding the security and well-being of everyone.
The ministry advised that the safest indoor locations include interior rooms away from windows and external facades, internal corridors, and basements if available, as well as areas protected by solid walls and away from any potential hazards.
The statement urged the public to remain in secure interior locations, away from windows and glass facades, avoid open or exposed areas without justification, and to leave only for urgent necessities.
The ministry also stressed the importance of avoiding going to accident sites or areas with the presence of security vehicles and personnel, following instructions issued by authorities, and monitoring official channels for updates.
It added that staying indoors and limiting movement to essential cases is a key precautionary measure that enhances public safety and helps protect lives and property. (QNA)
