HH the Amir Receives Phone Call from Hungary's Prime Minister

Doha, March 02 (QNA) - HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani has received a phone call from HE Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orban, during which the Hungarian leader expressed solidarity with Doha.

At the start of the call, HE Orban conveyed Hungary's support for Qatar and condemned the Iranian aggression. He affirmed Budapest's backing for any measures taken by Doha to safeguard its security, stability and sovereignty.

Meanwhile, HH the Amir expressed his appreciation for Hungary's support and solidarity. Both leaders discussed the latest security developments in the region and their implications for peace and stability at the regional and international levels.

The two sides stressed the importance of prioritizing political solutions through dialogue and negotiations, as well as intensifying diplomatic efforts to reinforce stability, protect regional security and prevent further escalation. (QNA)
