Doha, March 2 (QNA) - The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) reaffirmed Monday that all health facilities and institutions in the State of Qatar are continuing to provide their services and are at the highest level of readiness to deal with emergencies.

Assistant Undersecretary for Healthcare Regulatory Affairs at the MoPH Dr. Ghanim Ali Al Manna stated in remarks to the Qatar News Agency (QNA) that, given the evolving situation in the region, the Ministry, in cooperation with the relevant authorities, has intensified its efforts and taken all necessary measures to safeguard the health and well-being of the residents of the State of Qatar.

Dr. Al Mannai explained that health facilities operating in the country are continuing to provide their regular health services, and that emergency centers and departments are operating around the clock and are fully prepared to deal with any emerging health developments.

He emphasized the high level of readiness of health facilities and medical staff to handle emergencies.

Dr. Al Mannai reiterated that the strategic stock of medicines and medical supplies is sufficient to meet the needs of all residents, urging citizens, residents, and visitors to follow the guidelines issued by the relevant authorities in the country.

It is worth noting that the Ministry of Public Health receives any health-related emergency inquiries at the number (16000). (QNA)
