Abu Dhabi, March 17 (QNA) - The UAE Ministry of Defense announced that its air defenses on Tuesday engaged ten missiles and 45 UAVs launched from Iran.

It added that, since the start of the Iranian attacks, UAE air defenses have engaged 314 ballistic missiles and 15 loitering projectiles, as well as 1,672 drones.

The ministry reported that these attacks resulted in the martyrdom of two servicemembers of the UAE Armed Forces while performing their duties, and the deaths of six civilians from Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Palestine, in addition to the injury of 157 individuals of various nationalities, ranging from minor to moderate to critical.

Accordingly, the Ministry confirmed that it remains on alert to address any threats and will act resolutely to deter any actions that could undermine the country's security, stressing its commitment to safeguarding the UAE's sovereignty, stability, and national interests. (QNA)
