UAE Air Defenses Intercept Six Ballistic Missiles, 21 Drones
Abu Dhabi, March 16 (QNA) - The UAE Ministry of Defense announced today that its air defenses intercepted six ballistic missiles and 21 drones launched from Iran.
In a statement, the Ministry said that since the beginning of the Iranian attacks, its air defenses have intercepted 304 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles, and 1,627 drones. The statement noted that these attacks resulted in the martyrdom of two members of the armed forces while performing their national duty, the deaths of five civilians of Arab and foreign nationalities, and injuries to 145 people, ranging from minor to severe, of Emirati, Arab, and foreign nationalities.
The Ministry affirmed its readiness to deal with any threats and to resolutely confront anything that aims to destabilize the country's security, ensuring its sovereignty, security, and stability, and protecting its national interests and resources. (QNA)
