Egyptian President Discusses Regional Developments with UAE President, Jordanian King
Cairo, March 15 (QNA) - Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi discussed current regional developments in two separate phone calls today with HH President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and King Abdullah II of Jordan.
In a statement today, the Egyptian Presidency reported that during the calls, El-Sisi emphasized the need to de-escalate the current tensions and spare the region further unrest and instability.
The Egyptian President also noted that Egypt is intensifying its efforts and initiatives at the international and regional levels to halt the escalation and contain the crises, praising the active role of the UAE and Jordan in supporting efforts to de-escalate tensions and enhance regional stability.
He stressed the importance of consolidating the concept of collective Arab national security to ensure the protection of Arab states from any threats or attacks, emphasizing that Arab unity is the best way to confront current challenges and preserve the stability of the region. (QNA)
