Kuwait City, March 14 (QNA) - The Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense announced on Saturday that two hostile missiles targeted Ahmad Al Jaber Air Base, resulting in some material damages in the perimeter of the base.

Spokesperson for the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense, Col. Saud Al Atwan, stated that the Armed Forces, as part of their mission to track any potential aerial threats, detected seven missiles over the past 24 hours; three of them had been destroyed, and two others slammed into a site beyond the threat zone and did not pose any threat.

He further noted that two missiles targeted Ahmad Al Jaber Air Base, resulting in some material damage in the perimeter of the base.

Three servicemembers of the Armed Forces sustained minor injuries and are receiving essential treatment, with their health condition stable, Al Atwan emphasized, clarifying that the duty force of the Kuwait National Guard (KNG) had successfully vaporized two hostile missiles after they had been tracked within the responsibility sites as part of the combined military and collaborative efforts among military agencies.

Al Atwan further reported that the Explosive Ordnance Inspection and Disposal Unit of the Army Engineering Force handled 13 reports of flotsam and had disposed of them based on the enforced measures. (QNA)
