Three Killed in Israeli Airstrikes on Lebanon
Beirut, March 13 (QNA) - Three people were killed and others injured as a result of Israeli airstrikes that targeted several areas in Lebanon early today, causing material damage.
Lebanon’s National News Agency reported that an Israeli drone targeted a car on the road to Shaaitiyeh in the Tyre district in southern Lebanon, killing one person. Israeli warplanes also carried out an airstrike at dawn today on the town of Tayr Felsay near the bridge.
In the Nabatieh district, a woman was killed and her husband was injured after an airstrike targeted their home in the town of Aba.
In the capital Beirut, the agency reported that one person was killed in an Israeli strike targeting a car in the Jnah area. It also reported that a drone targeted a residential apartment in the Naba’a-Bourj Hammoud area early today.
Israeli aircraft had also carried out an airstrike last night on the town of Al Qulaylah, resulting in injuries, while the outskirts of the towns of Qawzah and Ramyeh were subjected to heavy artillery shelling.
Lebanon’s Ministry of Public Health said yesterday that the death toll from Israeli attacks on Lebanon had risen to 687 killed and 1,774 injured since Mar. 2. (QNA)
