Ramallah, March 12 (QNA) - Palestine on Thursday welcomed the UN Security Council Resolution 2817, which condemns the Iranian attacks targeting GCC countries and Jordan.

In a statement, the Palestinian Presidency considered the resolution an important step reflecting the international consensus rejecting Iranian aggression against Arab states and any infringement upon their sovereignty, security, stability, and the safety of their citizens. The Presidency reiterated the importance of respecting the rules of international law and international humanitarian law and prioritizing dialogue to contribute to establishing security and stability in the region and ending regional tensions.

The Presidency also emphasized the State of Palestine's unwavering support for Arab states in confronting any attacks targeting their sovereignty and security, and its support for all measures they take to protect their security and the safety of their citizens. (QNA)
