HH the Amir Receives Phone Call from Turkish President
Doha, March 11 (QNA) - HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a phone call Wednesday from HE President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of the sisterly Republic of Turkiye.
At the outset of the call, HE the Turkish President inquired about the situation in the State of Qatar in light of the recent developments following the continued blatant Iranian aggression, reiterating his country's solidarity and full support for all measures taken by the State of Qatar to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and stability.
The call also addressed the latest regional developments amid the continued Iranian aggression against the State of Qatar and a number of countries in the region, and the threat it poses to regional security and stability.
The two sides exchanged views on the efforts being made at the regional and international levels to immediately halt the escalation and to strengthen diplomatic efforts aimed at preventing the expansion of the crisis.
Both sides stressed the importance of continued coordination and consultation between them, and intensifying cooperation with regional and international partners to support de-escalation and create favorable conditions for peaceful solutions through dialogue and diplomatic means, in a manner that enhances regional security and stability.
