Gold Prices in Qatar Down 0.34% This Week

Doha, March 12 (QNA) - The prices of gold in Qatar declined by 0.34 percent during the current week, reaching $5,154.18 per ounce today, according to data issued by Qatar National Bank.

Data showed that the price of an ounce of gold fell from $5,172 to what it was last Sunday.

In contrast, prices of other precious metals rose during the week, with silver increasing by 0.69 percent to $84.9987 an ounce, compared to $84.411 at the beginning of the week, and platinum rising by 1.39 percent to $2,177.2932 an ounce, up from $2,147.3 on Sunday. (QNA)
