Gasoline in US Surpasses $3.50 a Gallon
New York, March 11 (QNA) - Data from price tracking services AAA and GasBuddy showed that the average national retail price of gasoline in the United States surpassed $3.50 a gallon this week, reaching its highest level since May 2024, as the Israeli-American war on Iran raised concerns about supplies.
Disruptions to oil exports from the Middle East through the Strait of Hormuz have caused fuel prices to rise worldwide, putting pressure on consumers and disrupting global economic activity.
The average retail price of gasoline in the United States has jumped by about 60 cents since Trump's decision to join Israel in attacking Iran on February 28, reaching $3.58 a gallon today. (QNA)
