Khartoum, March 11 (QNA) - Qatar Charity (QC) continues implementing its Ramadan Iftar project in Sudan by distributing food parcels to sponsored orphans and vulnerable families in Red Sea State, as part of its campaign "Good Starts with You".
The QC's field team delivered the Ramadan food parcels to mothers of orphans at the Eastern Secondary School in Port Sudan, where families expressed their deep appreciation for the unwavering generosity of donors from Qatar, which continues to support those in need during the holy month despite the exceptional circumstances in the region.
The Ramadan parcels distributed by QC include essential food staples for the holy month. Distribution is ongoing across Red Sea, Kassala, River Nile, and Northern States.
Families of sponsored orphans in Red Sea State conveyed their gratitude to donors and benefactors from Qatar, noting that this assistance has had a significant positive impact, particularly amid the economic hardship that has left many vulnerable families unable to afford Ramadan essentials.
In essence, QC launched its Ramadan Iftar project at the beginning of the holy month by distributing food parcels to displaced families at the Peace and Happiness Shelter Center in the Dar Al-Salam area of Port Sudan, with its team continuing their efforts to distribute food parcels across River Nile, Northern, and Kassala States in eastern Sudan.
