Doha, March 11 (QNA) - HE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi has discussed the recent military escalation in the region with HE Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Albania Igli Hasani.

HE Al Muraikhi received a phone conversation on Wednesday from the Albanian minister, during which the two sides reviewed the developments of the ongoing tensions and the serious repercussions they could have on regional and global stability.

HE Al Muraikhi reiterated Qatar's condemnation of the recent Iranian attacks on Qatari territory, stressing that such actions cannot be accepted under any justification.

He also noted that Qatar has consistently sought to remain neutral in regional conflicts and has worked to facilitate dialogue between Iran and the international community.

He emphasized the need for an immediate halt to escalation, urging all parties to return to diplomacy in order to contain the crisis and safeguard regional security.

For his part, HE Hasani called for de-escalation and the use of diplomatic channels and negotiations to prevent further instability. (QNA)
