Minister of Commerce and Industry: Supply and Distribution Chains Are Operating Normally and Smoothly

Doha, March 11 (QNA) - HE Minister of Commerce and Industry Sheikh Faisal bin Thani bin Faisal Al-Thani affirmed that supply and distribution chains are operating normally and smoothly, noting that the relevant departments at the Ministry are continuously monitoring market activity and stock levels in coordination with suppliers and retail outlets, contributing to market stability and the availability of goods.

His Excellency made the remarks during a field visit on Wednesday to a number of retail outlets across the country as part of ongoing efforts to monitor market conditions and ensure the availability of essential goods and products for consumers.

During the visit, His Excellency reviewed product availability levels at retail outlets and verified that sufficient stock is maintained in stores and warehouses to ensure the continuous supply of goods to consumers.

His Excellency also expressed appreciation to all relevant entities for their cooperation, as well as to factories, suppliers, and retail outlets for their ongoing efforts to ensure the steady availability of goods and products for consumers. He emphasized that the Ministry will continue conducting inspection and field visits to ensure market stability and meet consumer needs under all circumstances. (QNA)
