Manama, March 11 (QNA) - King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and President of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier discussed updates related to the security situation in the Middle East, over the phone on Wednesday.

During the call, the German President expressed his country's solidarity with and support for the Kingdom of Bahrain, condemning the Iranian attacks on the Kingdom's territory and affirming Germany's support for Bahrain in its measures to preserve its sovereignty and security.

For his part, the King of Bahrain reaffirmed his country's steadfast commitment to its well-established approach based on wisdom and moderation, and on promoting peace and cooperation with its Arab, regional, and international surroundings, in a way that serves the security and stability of the region.

The King of Bahrain also praised Germany's supportive stance toward his country. (QNA)
