Israel Launches Airstrikes on Beirut's Southern Suburbs
Beirut, March 10 (QNA) - Israeli occupation army aircraft renewed their airstrikes on the southern suburbs of Beirut on Tuesday.
Lebanon's National News Agency (NNA) said that Israeli warplanes carried out a violent airstrike on the "Laylaki" area, two airstrikes on the "Jamus" area, and a warning raid on the southern suburbs of Beirut.
NNA noted that the warning raid was the first after the warning issued by the occupation army this afternoon to a number of areas in the suburbs, while the spokesman for the occupation army issued an urgent warning to the residents of the area, especially the residents of the neighborhoods of Haret Hreik, Ghobeiri, Laylaki, Hadath, Burj Al Barajneh, Tahwitat Al Ghadir and Chiyah, demanding that they evacuate their homes immediately.
Since Feb. 28, the Israeli army has been waging a continuous aggression against southern Lebanon and the southern suburbs of Beirut, leading to hundreds of casualties and injuries, and forcing nearly one million people to flee. (QNA)
