UAE Announces Two Injuries in Drone Interception Incident in Dubai
Dubai, March 01 (QNA) - Two people were injured after shrapnel from intercepted drones fell onto the courtyards of two homes in the Emirate of Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The Dubai Media Office stated, in a report carried by the Emirates News Agency (WAM), that the sounds heard across the city resulted from successful interception operations. The statement confirmed that the two injured individuals have been provided with all necessary medical care.
Earlier today, the UAE Ministry of Defense announced that since the start of the Iranian attack, its forces have successfully intercepted 137 ballistic missiles and 209 drones launched toward UAE territory. The ministry emphasized the high state of readiness of the nation's air defense systems and their continued capability to counter various threats. (QNA)
