Kuwait Defense Ministry Confirms Hostile Targets Intercepted in Southern Airspace

Kuwait, March 01 (QNA) - The Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense announced that the Kuwaiti air defense system successfully confronted and intercepted a number of hostile aerial targets on Sunday morning, underscoring the readiness of the armed forces to protect the nation's airspaces.

In a statement, Official Spokesperson for the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense, Col. Saud Atwan, said the targets had been tracked and intercepted within the scope of operations in the south of the country as part of full readiness to deal with any potential threats.

Atwan pointed out that no injuries were recorded as a result of this interception, confirming that the Kuwaiti armed forces continue to carry out their national duties diligently and handle any field developments to ensure the safeguarding of the nation's security and stability, as well as its territorial integrity.
