Doha, March 01 (QNA) - HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received Sunday a phone call from HE President of the Republic of Iraq Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid.

HE the Iraqi President expressed the Republic of Iraq's solidarity with the State of Qatar following the Iranian aggression against it and sought reassurance regarding the situation in Qatar.

For his part, HH the Amir expressed his gratitude and appreciation to HE the Iraqi President for his sincere fraternal sentiments, praising the strong relations between the two sisterly countries.

The call also discussed the latest regional and international developments of mutual concern. (QNA)
