Washington, March 01 (QNA) - The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) said that three US service members have been killed in action while five others were seriously wounded, as part of the ongoing joint combat operation between the United States and Israel against Iran.

In a statement issued Sunday, CENTCOM said, "Several others sustained minor shrapnel injuries and concussions — and are in the process of being returned to duty."

"Major combat operations continue and our response effort is ongoing," it added. (QNA)
