Doha, February 09 (QNA) - HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani has issued Amiri Decision No. 10 of 2026, reconstituting the Board of Trustees of Qatar University.

Under the decision, HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani was appointed as Chairperson of the Board, with HE Sheikh Dr Abdullah bin Ali bin Saoud Al-Thani named as Vice Chairperson.

The board's membership includes HE Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari, HE Mohammed bin Ali Al Mannai, HE Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater, HE Dr Abdulaziz bin Nasser Al Khalifa, HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Qassim Al-Thani, HE Dr Hanan bint Mohammed Al Kuwari, HE Dr Saleh bin Mohammed Al Nabit, HE Dr Hessa bint Sultan Al Jaber, HE Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Suwaidi, Sheikh Abdullah bin Ahmed bin Abdullah Al-Thani, Nasser Khalil Al Jaida, and Professor Hissa Mohammed Sadiq.

The decision also authorizes the Chairperson of the Board to appoint additional members with relevant competence, expertise, and academic standing from within Qatar or abroad.

The decision is to be implemented immediately and published in the Official Gazette. (QNA)
