Doha, February 03 (QNA) - HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani received Tuesday a phone call from HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Italian Republic Antonio Tajani.

During the call, they discussed the cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to support and strengthen them, the latest developments in the region, in addition to a number of topics of mutual interest.

The two sides also stressed the importance of intensifying regional and international efforts to reduce escalation and tension in the region through dialogue and peaceful means to consolidate regional security. (QNA)
