Morocco's Minister of Digital Transition to QNA: Web Summit Qatar 2026 an Opportunity to Strengthen Digital Partnerships with Arab World, Africa
Doha, February 03 (QNA) - HE Minister of Digital Transition and Administration Reform of the Kingdom of Morocco, Amal El Fallah Seghrouchni, described the third edition of Qatar Web Summit 2026 as a successful platform for learning about the latest developments in digital technology and artificial intelligence, praising the event's organization and the warm welcome extended to participants.
Speaking to Qatar News Agency (QNA) on the sidelines of her participation in the summit, Her Excellency said that Morocco had been able, through this engagement, to sign several partnership and cooperation agreements with international partners in the digital field, adding that these initiatives help strengthen the presence of the Arab world and Africa on the global digital stage.
She noted that Morocco and Qatar enjoy strong fraternal relations, adding that the summit had provided an opportunity to discuss joint startup projects that could begin in Morocco and continue in Qatar, or vice versa, in a way that boosts technological cooperation and builds stronger bridges between the two countries. These partnerships seek to create added value for the people and to unify the Arab-African voice in the field of digital innovation, she pointed out.
