Doha, February 28 (QNA) - The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has emphasized the full readiness of the health sector in the State of Qatar to deal with all contingencies in collaboration with the relevant state sectors and to take further actions to protect the safety and health of the entire population of the State of Qatar.

The health facilities operating in the nation are continuing to provide health services, with the emergency centers and sections operating around the clock, the MoPH clarified.

It confirmed that health enterprises, as well as health crews operating in various regions across the nation, are fully equipped to handle contingencies, emphasizing that the strategic stockpile of medicines and medical essentials is available to meet the needs of the entire population.

As such, the Ministry urged citizens, residents, and visitors to take information only from its official sources and to follow the guidelines issued by the authoritative agencies in the country.

Should there be any health inquiries related to emergencies, the Ministry will receive them at the number (16000), and in case of any request for life-saving medical care, people should call the number (999). (QNA)
