Doha, February 23 (QNA) - Al Rayyan overturned a one-goal deficit to defeat Al Ahli 2-1 on Sunday at Ahmad bin Ali Stadium in Matchday 16 of the Doha Bank Stars League.

Al Ahli took the lead in the 29th minute through Spanish forward Erik Exposito. However, Al Rayyan mounted a late comeback, with Serbian striker Aleksandar Mitrovic equalizing in the 82nd minute, followed by a stoppage-time winner from Spaniard Rodrigo Moreno in the 91st minute (90+1').

With this result, Al Rayyan move to 28 points, maintaining fourth place in the standings. Conversely, Al Ahli suffered their fourth consecutive defeat, remaining in 10th place with 15 points. (QNA)
