Doha, February 22 (QNA) - Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) announced that the results of FTSE Russell Global Equity Index Series Semi Annual review will become effective at the open on March 23, 2026 for the Qatari market.
The details of the review for Qatari stocks included the addition of Zad Holding Company to Micro Cap Segment, in addition to the deletions of Qatar National Navigation & Transport from Mid Cap segment; Dlala Brokerage & Investment Holding Co. from Micro Cap Segment; Inma Holding from Micro Cap Segment; and Qatar Oman Investment Company from Micro Cap Segment.
The QSE statement issued on Sunday and published on its website did not include any reclassification of Qatari companies.
The FTSE Emerging Markets Index is significant for global funds and portfolios, as it attracts major investments from some of the largest global banks and companies. This index is closely followed by numerous European, British and global investment funds. (QNA)
