Doha, February 17 (QNA) - Al Sadd qualified for the Round of 16 of the AFC Champions League Elite 2025–2026 despite a 4-1 loss to the Saudi club Al Ittihad in the match played on Tuesday at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium, as part of Round 8 of the West Zone.

Al Sadd remained at eight points after the loss. The goal for Al Zaeem was scored by Rafa Mujica in the 38th minute, while Al Ittihad's goals came from Houssem Aouar in the 10th minute, Youssef En-Nesyri in the 18th minute, an own goal by Pedro Miguel in the 33rd minute, and Stéphane Bahoken in the 63rd minute.
